Reedy Zappers 2S LiPo 70C Shorty Battery was designed for use in modified classes. Zappers perfectly describe Reedy's high voltage LiPo battery chemistry. A 7.6 nominal voltage means that with a suitable charger, the battery can be safely charged to 8.7V (4.35V/cell). It is not a secret that more voltage equals more power, so there is no easier way to achieve a performance advantage than a higher charge voltage!

A 70C rating reduces initial punch for modified class racers while still producing a flatter discharge curve to close the power gap between the beginning and end of a race. Higher capacity is perfect for longer races and battery-hungry classes and surfaces. A high quality, durable hard Reedy case helps prevent damage while heavy-duty 5mm socket connectors keeps power-robbing resistance to a minimum. A charge lead and 5mm ESC connectors are included.

For those who race where approved batteries are required, 7.4V are available and feature the same discharge curve characteristics as the 7.6V versions.

Features:
  • High voltage chemistry
  • Flat discharge curve
  • Low-resistance 5mm sockets
  • 2mm balance port
  • Durable hard case
  • Versions built to ROAR/EFRA/BRCA/IFMAR specs available

Reedy Zappers 2S Hard Case LiPo 70C Shorty Battery (7.6V/5800mAh)
Purchased 2 in April '17. Have used for 2 classes. Charge rate 1C, 8.4v. Have never used HV capability. Estimate 150 cycles at this point.

2wd 17.5 Buggy
- have run 15+ minutes and have never hit LVC
- battery may be slightly higher than ambient
- 30x30x10 cooling fan

Mod SC 4wd
- Finishes 6 minute mains with no issue or 5 minute courses with higher speeds, ending voltage usually somewhere around 7.6v (from ICharger)
- battery is warmer than ambient but not hot, no where near uncomfortable to hold
- ESC has a cooling fan, no motor fan
- Frequent (>80%) A-main in fields of 20-30

No signs of puffing. According to my ICharger IR is low 2s but I see variation (seemingly based on cables being used) so I don't know how accurate this is. Great batteries IMO.)
