Xnova "Tareq Edition" 3215-930KV Brushless Motor (930Kv)
I had my motor fail after four flights on new Goblin 420. Fortunately it was on the ground. One of the bullet connectors broke right where the wire cover was cut by the factory. I suspect that the wire was cut too deep when removing the outer covering.

The wire was too short to re-solder a new connector and reach the ESC and I understand they have a coating that is difficult to get off. Bottom line: check your motor wires closely before soldering connectors! Motor worked great prior to failure. X-nova has not responded.

Xnova "Tareq Edition" 3215-930KV Brushless Motor (930Kv)
It's 2018 I'm a satisfied customer. This is the only motor I would get for a G380/420. We all know this bird likes power and high headspeed to overcome gravity. Motor comes down cool and ready to fly again and again. I have not noticed any QC issues with my motor. I fly using a Brain Gov and I have yet to be able to bog this motor in any significant amount to care. Buy with confidence. Fly with vigor. Happy Breakfast.

Xnova "Tareq Edition" 3215-930KV Brushless Motor (930Kv)
Couple issues...

First issue; the motor I received is missing some of the branding lettering on the top, it's a "SPECIAL EC - O-"

Second; the wires seemed brittle. I tested my solder joint with a wiggle and tug and the joint snapped just above the bullet connector. Pulled back a few mm of insulation and re soldered. Also, the supplied bullet connectors don't fit 12AWG wire that is standard on most ESC's in this power range.

Other than that the motor works well in my Goblin 420. It's a great fit, looks good and has plenty of punch.

*Note; the motor is 930kv, not 900Kv as this ad currently states in (parentheses)
