Grab a fistful of throttle and the huge Velineon 540XL motor delivers a massive torque punch to wheelie on command, and then keeps pouring on the thrust for a 60+ MPH top speed. The Torque Biasing Center Drive and heavy-duty shaft-driven 4WD system transfers maximum power to the ultra-aggressive Sledgehammer tires. Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Have a Slash 2wd and a rustler 4x4 now added a Hoss to the lineup. I get asked all the time what other vehicles it compares to. The only way I can put it is all, and none. The Hoss is a creature all it's own other than having parts from a little of every traxxas 1/10 scale truck. It is definitely a blast and a wheelie king. Great job traxxas. The only thing I could see people might, just might, complain about is the body sometimes comes out of the side sabers if it rolls and you hear a tire rub the body will sound like a gear grinding. But no biggy just put the side panel back in its groove and play on.

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Great truck. If your familiar with Traxxas, it's a step above a stampede and lower then a Maxx. Great bashing truck, has plenty of power for any terrain and fast. My buddy has one and geared it to go 60mph, crazy fast. But I personally had more fun stock gears and 3s lipo. I run on a short course, jumps and rough terrain. Truck is lots of fun, self righting is great, no running to flip truck over anymore. A++

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
The hoss is a great machine ! The only thing I didn,t like was the open hole on the front of the chasis where the drive shaft goe,s into the front axle ! When driven in loose beach sand at the lake the tunnel where the main drive shaft is ,fills up with sand ,and the clear plastic shield that cover,s the shaft become,s a trap for small stone,s ! And if you don,t catch it time ,the small stone,s will grind away at the shaft! But it,s still a good basher. TRAXXAS NEEDS TO SEAL OFF THE HOLE ON FRONT OF THE CHASSIS !!!

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Truck is awesome. I see nothing wrong with the build. Price might be a little high but considering the internals i guess it’s fair.

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Very fun truck to drive. I've ran it on different types of terrain, and ran it at the local skate park. I must say, I wasn't disappointed with it. I've been running on 2s, and I can't wait to see what it can do with 3s! If you're on a limited budget and want a really fun brushless 4x4 truck that won't break the bank. Here you go.

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Has a weak servo. Other than that seems to do very well right out of the box. Change the plastic geared servo and bash at will

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
When I received the Traxxas Hoss I was amazed how well built it was but when I was ready to run the truck everything was good with the throttle and steering were working until I put the truck down and the steering stopped working and froze up now I read that whole manual and used brand new batteries for the transmitter and a fully charged Lipo 3S battery but something went wrong with the steering servo it should be under warranty seeing it's still brand new because without steering I3couldn't even run the truck which sucks maybe Amain hobbies will get back to my message about the servo problem

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Great truck, fits nicely between the Stampede and Maxx. I did change the servo to a metal gear, that's really the only issue/complaint I have with the truck.

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
This truck is awesome super fast. If you want a decent size monster RC truck the TRAXXAS HOSS VXL 4x4 is the one. Everyone keeps asking me where they can get one. At work a very young older secretary saw me driving it and was so excited she wants them for her higher teen grandchildren.

Best purchase of an RC ever. I amb43 years old and started getting RC's at 7 years old. That's a lot of RC's

Thanks Traxxas,

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
Waaay overpriced !!!!! Get a 4x4 Stampede throw in a nice Castle BL combo and a Savox servo and you'll be better off.

Traxxas Hoss 4X4 VXL 3S 4WD Brushless RTR Monster Truck (Green)
just like the xmaxx , peice of shit ,3 wheelies and it riped the wheelie bar screws out of the mount / skid plate . five minutes later it broke the right front u-joint / drive shaft. my xmaxx that i bought on may 19th ,2020 has cost me $8618.28 in parts to keep it running ( so far ) and it just keeps braking stuff every time i turn it on !!!!!!
