Traxxas E-Revo VXL 2.0 RTR 4WD Electric 6S Monster Truck (Purple)
The e revo 2.0 is probably the most fun electric rc that I have ever had. That's saying something, because I have had well over 20 rc's through the years. It's fast and easily controllable to of the box. Which is rare to have both out of a rtr rc from any brand. I have ran it for about 3 hours so far and have had no issues out of it. If you run it how it is meant to be ran, it will be a fun durable rc. If you try to treat it like an xmaxx, it will break. Just keep that in mind.

5 stars all the way . I am doing destructive testing . I have found that its much cheaper under warranty . Threw past experiences I have found the warranty department very helpful . I use a pair max amp batteries . It's is great fun . I am 66 yrs old .

Traxxas E-Revo VXL 2.0 RTR 4WD Electric 6S Monster Truck (Purple)
I absolutely HATED this car! Out of the box from the factory the 2 servos aren't properly aligned, so you have to fix that first. I fixed that, but still the two 2075 servos failed and broke teeth in the gears. Traxxas replaced the servos on warranty and the new ones failed also in the same manner. I went with a single high powered metal gear Savox and had to install an external BEC, but the steering problems were on going. The next problem was that the steering would never return to center and it could not be resolved with steering trim. I found out the spring in the bellcrank needed to be stiffened. I purchased the stiffer spring and added some washers/shims to add preload and finally I resolved my steering issues.

Next, within a couple weeks of purchasing this car, the ESC out of nowhere one day just started flashing red and would not work anymore. Traxxas replaced the 6s ESC on warranty through my hobbyshop and the new replacement did the exact same thing a week later. The motor was fine, but I gave up on Traxxas electronics and went with the Hobbywing Max8 combo which worked great! I just want to note that I did NOT crash or abuse this car, all these problems happened under normal operation. This car was down and broken more than I have been able to drive it.

When this car is working (which was rare) it is fun,but the camber is hard to dial in and retain, the dust boots always rip and tear, the car traction rolls very easily and you are limited in battery sizes. One day I was driving it and a 3s lipo exploded and set on fire in it. I was able to save the car, but I am convinced that my car is cursed and I gave up on the E-Revo 2.0. I dumped a lot a time and money into this car it was a complete waste. I am now trying to sell mine and get rid of it once and for all.
