The Traxxas 400 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Brushless Servo combines maximum steering authority with a long list of high-performance features. The servo utilizes full metal gears, dual ball bearings, and an aluminum center section for added heat dissipation. A cutting edge brushless motor provides 400 ounce-inches of torque for extreme applications.* The High-Torque 400 servo is fully waterproof, not just “water resistant” and drops into most 1/10 Traxxas vehicles for that perfect factory fit.

The Power to Perform
With over 3 times more torque than the standard #2075 servo, the High-Torque 400 provides noticeably faster turning speed and works great with TSM™ equipped vehicles. Traxxas High-Torque servos are the perfect upgrade for high-demand applications like Unlimited Desert Racer, Slash, Stampede, or almost any 1/10 Traxxas vehicle requiring extreme performance. Replace the E-Revo's dual servos with a single #2255 for lighter weight, more torque, and lightning-quick steering response. Elevate your steering performance to the next level with the High-Torque red 400 servo.

Waterproof Not "Water Resistant"
Traxxas knows the difference between “water resistant” and waterproof. Traxxas High-Torque servos are completely waterproof to give you the freedom to run when you want, where you want. Power through streams and bogs without fear while trucks with “water resistant” servos are stuck on the sidelines.

For TRX-4 Installation
The Traxxas High-Torque 400 Red servo represents a huge power upgrade for the TRX-4. When installing this servo, it is required that you use the High-Voltage BEC kit (TRA2262) and a steel servo horn (TRA8247X) is recommended. Installing the BEC is easy with plug and play simplicity. The kit includes a larger receiver box cover to maintain total waterproof integrity and a Y harness for vehicles with LED light kits.

Traxxas 400 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Brushless Servo (Red)
You would think for 100$ you could expect a little quality but this "top rated" traxxas servo will disappoint you. Installed on my slash 4x4 vxl and ran it for about 1 week before i noticed my steering becoming unpredictable like, sometimes would turn as it should and other times wouldnt turn very hard at full steer. as if the servo saver was bad but it was brand new; it had to be the servo. at close inspection i realized the toothed shaft that you attach the horn to, is actually rocking back and forth inside the servo casing as i use the radio to turn the servo. i took the casing off and found RIDICULOUSNESS! There are 2 bearings on the shaft as advertised, but one is just sitting on the shaft loosly doing nothing, right next to/below the top bearing that rides in the lid of the casing. the bottom of the shaft is not fixed to anything, and there is/never was a slot for the 2nd bearing to seat into! so, no wonder this shaft is rocking back and forth when i use the servo. also, if you pay 100$ for a servo, it should be a FULL aluminum case. dont buy traxxas servos. dont buy savox either, their servos have no tolerance for moisture, they dont reply to rma requests or any tech support requests at all and their pricing is over 2x what it should be. instead buy a nice 100$ made in china with 400oz torque, .08ms timing, fully programmable, all aluminum housing and ipv6 waterproofing. imagine what traxxas and savox would charge for all those features.

Traxxas 400 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Brushless Servo (Red)
In 6 months this servo has died. Traxxas wants half the price to fix it. I'm putting my money else where.

Traxxas 400 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Brushless Servo (Red)
I have purchased four of these with two going bad in the first month of use. Puts out great torque while they last. Guess I get to find out how good Traxxas warranties are.

Traxxas 400 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Brushless Servo (Red)
Pretty good servo, thought it was going to be more powerful for turning my 2.2s, but I'm not complaining about it. Has plenty of power and can turn those wheels in some tight spots, just thought it was be more. 4 stars because I installed a metal servo horn on it as well and it didn't quite line up perfectly, trim has to be off to the right a bit to get it straight, even after trying to re set the horn several times.
