The Traxxas 330 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Digital Servo combines maximum steering authority with a long list of high-performance features. The servo utilizes full metal gears, dual ball bearings, and an aluminum center section for added heat dissipation. A powerful coreless motor provides 330 ounce-inches of torque for the most demanding applications.* The High-Torque 330 servo is fully waterproof, not just “water resistant” and drops into most 1/10 Traxxas vehicles for that perfect factory fit.

The Power to Perform
With over 2.5 times more torque than the standard #2075 servo, the High-Torque 330 provides noticeably faster turning speed and works great with TSM™ equipped vehicles. Traxxas High-Torque servos are the perfect upgrade for high-demand applications like Unlimited Desert Racer, Slash, Stampede, or almost any 1/10 Traxxas vehicle requiring extreme performance. Replace the E-Revo's dual servos with a single #2250 for lighter weight, more torque, and lightning-quick steering response. Elevate your steering performance to the next level with the High-Torque Blue 330 servo.

Waterproof Not "Water Resistant"

Traxxas knows the difference between “water resistant” and waterproof. Traxxas High-Torque servos are completely waterproof to give you the freedom to run when you want, where you want. Power through streams and bogs without fear while trucks with “water resistant” servos are stuck on the sidelines.

For TRX-4 Installation
The Traxxas High-Torque 330 Blue servo represents a huge power upgrade for the TRX-4. When installing this servo, it is required that you use the High-Voltage BEC kit (TRA2262) and a steel servo horn (TRA8247X) is recommended. Installing the BEC is easy with plug and play simplicity. The kit includes a larger receiver box cover to maintain total waterproof integrity and a Y harness for vehicles with LED light kits.

  • *Compatible with most Traxxas 1/10 scale electric models
  • Compatible with TRX-4 models using High Voltage BEC Kit and metal servo horn

Traxxas 330 High Torque Metal Gear Waterproof Digital Servo (Blue)
It's a good and relatively quiet servo. It doesn't pull many amps so its quite friendly with any esc other than the stock traxxas one, although I used it without issue on the stock esc.

I thought it was stalling easily but it turns out the panhard mount on the chassis, it's also the front left fender and shock tower, and on the axle were flexing way too much.

For the price it's hard to beat, but for not much more a really high quality servo, like Holmes Hobbies SHV500V3, is a better option. Honestly, if you're keeping the stock esc, then the Holmes SHV500V3 is the same price because it doesn't require a BEC kit as it's externally powered through a JST plug, like what the stock esc has already installed on it. I'm running the Reef's triple 7 direct power esc now but that's a $157 servo and not really better than the $120 holmes unit... other than a decent bit more torque and being able to connect to a pc to increase or decrease the output and adjust its safety settings among other things.
