4WD Short Course Performance, in a Class 1 Buggy Package!

Losi's TEN-SCBE picks up where the other Class 1 imitators left off, with the realism, performance, and durability everyone has been waiting for. Based on the TEN-SCTE platform, the SCBE offers superior handling and the durability that made the SCTE a dominant platform at tracks around the world. The open wheel design, roll-cage, and multi-panel body provides the look of a real Class 1 buggy, and it attacks the terrain just like the real thing. The 4WD shaft drive drivetrain and powerful 4-pole, 3800Kv brushless motor help to elevate the performance and deliver speeds in excess of 50 mph! Thankfully, Losi has equipped the TEN-SCBE with Spektrum AVC Technology, so you can ride the ragged edge, without having to hold back.

I really like this car so far. This is my first brushless car and with a 2S battery it has incredible power and speed (I'm guessing 35+). I've only had one problem so far, and that the Center/Rear Drive Shaft came off because the set screw didn't have Loctite on it or something. So I guess make sure that screws that are metal on metal have Loctite on them. My drive shaft disappeared so I had to order a new one. 4 stars for the trouble, 5 stars otherwise.

Edited:
I just received the new center CV drive shaft that was meant for the back, and it's for the front. The exploded view calls out LOSB3578 for the back, and LOSB3555 for the front. This is incorrect. This might be correct for the SCTE, but for the buggy it's the other way around. I'm taking off another star for this, but would still recommend buying the car, just know they have the center CV drive shaft part numbers reversed for the SCBE.)

Bought this at my LHS and its been an amazing buggy. Pretty much a mini losi 8ight. Same wheel base and ride height just different shocks, arms, towers, diffs. Thinking about making this into a Super light buggy to race. It's very competitive on the track. I broke a shock cap and got the TLR aluminum ones all around with 40wt oil and this rides like a cloud. Lastly the stock tires are garbage and the turn buckles tend to tighten up adjusting your camber)

This unit is very impressive! We bought two of them and have a 80' oval track we run on with others (Clay with rock mixed in and has a lot of bumpy areas). These things have been bullet proof and handle unbelievably. We have ran thru many 3 cells and I had a set screw come loose on the rear drive shaft and a front screw loosen up that I noticed when cleaning. That's it. Really not even mentioning since any RC can have those two things happen after running a while. Can't say enough good things. Very very quick and fast. Would recommend to anyone in the market for 4X4 and electric.)

My first RC was a HPI Savage, nitro, years ago. I'm back now with electric RC. Had two issues, #1 the ESC was loose out the box. Fastened back down, loose again. Gonna try 3M outdoor mounting tape to hold down ESC. #2, after my 4th outing wheel came off driving on pavement. Maybe I should of checked fasteners between battery swaps a bit closer. Other than that, its been great and don't have regrets.
Jumped it on back to back 5-6 foot drops several times. Climbed up steep inclines without much issue. Turning radius is was wider compared to a Traxxas Slash 4x4, but worked out for me as I didn't barrel roll will full steer either side. Just now changed parameters via ESC adjustments on drag brake, start mode, initial brake, and reverse force as its seems rather tame out the box. Very happy with suspension and tires, but for price aluminum shocks would be nice. Running 2S is plenty for me. My favorite thing is the look, color & design. Pull two body clips, the hinged body just flips right up for quick & easy access.)
