This is a pack of two optional Tekno Green Low Frequency 70mm Rear Shock Springs, rated 2.44lb/in. The Tekno low-frequency (LF) spring design improves traction by reducing chassis oscillation on rough track surfaces and large jump landings. Better stability of the vehicle is achieved, providing more forward grip, increased corner speed and quicker lap times.

Spring length has been reduced by 15mm in the rear to allow for lower ride height adjustments. This dramatically increases corner speed under high traction conditions (such as carpet or astro-turf) where lower ride heights are essential.

With additional coils as well as a larger wire diameter, the LF springs feature a natural silver finish with a color indicator for easy spring identification. They directly replace existing springs (Part # TKR6030) and are intended to only be used on the SCT410, SCT410.3 and the EB48SL vehicles. Two (2) springs are included in each package.

When deciding to try the LF springs, it is suggested to start with the same rate you are currently running, or maybe one rate softer. Compared to standard springs, LF springs perform better in most conditions. Use the chart below for track type/condition recommendations specific to this spring strength.

Tekno RC Low Frequency 70mm Rear Shock Spring Set (Green - 2.44lb/in)
These springs are not equivalent to the longer springs of the same color as stated. The rear of my SCT will not rebound to previously set ride height even when tightening down the preload collars. After changing to a heavier oil, the shock STILL will not rebound to ride height. I went so far as to put the bleeder caps on the rear and the suspension still remains compressed. The only way the suspension rebounds to ride height is to tighten down the preload collars literally all the way. I feel like these springs would not compress well enough on jump faces to propel the truck over a jump as the previous springs did. I'm going to call Tekno about this issue, but I wouldn't change to these springs if your truck's suspension is articulating to satisfaction. If you are interested in low frequency springs, try the stock EB48.4 buggy springs. The new front springs work very well.
