Wow this truggy is fun!! Havent had this much fun for a while. Get one and start a 10th scale truggy class at ur local track!
Im extremely happy about this purchase! The build was incredibly easy and it was also super quick, I almost had it completely finished in one night. I have driven it once so far on a small/medium indoor clay track (LRH Hobbies in SoCal) and it was extremely fun to drive. It is a completely different beast than a 4wd buggy, and it just feels good. Im running mine currently with a 7.5t Reedy, Savox 1256tg, Hobbywing xr10 pro, a Sanwa wireless receiver and finally a Mylaps transponder. The electronics area is small but everything seems to fit perfectly when you take your time and keep it wired nicely. The truck drives extremely well straight out of the box and I had a great time. Im looking forward to watching this class grow because it truly is awesome. Dont hesitate, if your even remotely interested in this car buy it. You'll thank yourself later
Great 10th scale truggy or 4x4 stadium truck. Either way this is a great RC to drive. Way to much fun to drive. Goes where you want. Handles like a f1 race car" well dang close" love love love this. Would suggest to any friend or family. I'm running a pro 4 4600kv tekin with an Rx8 also tekin. It fits barely. Had to mount receiver on center chassis brace. Great power for a outdoor open track. Torque for days. Shocks also work well. I'm running stock setup outdoors and it just WORKS. THX TEKNO
Let me just say this thing is a blast to drive , handles great with box stock setup.Instructions are very detailed which made for a very easy build. Mine has a 6.5 reedy motor 510r esc reedy servo and holeshot tires, being i ran mine on the 1/8 scale track outdoor, this thing was clicking laps just as fast as my 1/8 scale within the first few laps i drove it(and yes it was clearing the triple with ease). Super easy to drive, turns on a dime, can't wait to get it on my local indoor clay track.I believe this class can replace other "smaller" classes being that it is so easy and fun to drive. Just my 2cents. Also id like to add , everybody i let drive it for a few laps had a huge smile on their face afterwards:) !
I've watched guys at the track race these things and it looks like a blast, so I figured I'd get one. I've built a lot of kits and this was definitely one of the more enjoyable ones to assemble. The instructions are very good and everything fit together really well. The people at Tekno RC did a nice job with the design of this RC car. I did purchase the TKR6712A shock caps to replace the plastic ones included with the kit. Other than that, I really can't see anything to complain about. Looking forward to hitting the track with this thing!
Update: After a few practice days and a club race, I'm SUPER impressed with this thing! I like it so much, I just ordered an EB410.2 to go along with it.
drive very nice and amount the 90 cars that i built, this one is top ten, right behind serpent, kyosho and HB; But this car have structuring issues. First run, trying big jumps broke rear upright, second run with new exotec Al. uprights then broke front arm, forth run front gear box break; So i upgrade the 3.5 arms and front camber link plate. now with the new arm it broke and the front chassis brace broke. about 4 more runs, the brace break again and so as the wing mount.with about the total of 12th picks to the truggy, the rear gear box break, same area where the shock towers mount to as the front. cost me over 160 dollars parts already. So if your local tracks is smooth and no big jumps and this is a good car, BUT for a big jumps and rough tracks don't buy it, unless you drive SLLLOOOW. BTW i use 5.5t 19t pinion. don't hate me because i run my car on a real off road track where it suppose to run on.
What a great Truggy!
Pros: Great build, Quality parts and clear instructions as expected from Tekno.
Cons: the tolerances on the differentials are a little tight. The rear diff operates smooth, the front had minor binding even when following the instruction to a "T". I'd prefer looser tolerance even if I had to shim. Shocks are known to leak, I have not had that issue yet. I will update if they do or do not.
A super fun RC to run! I love this little truggy and it super durable from my experience. I have had a breakages but they where all less than I would have expected after the crashes that caused them! It was an obvious choice since I already was running the EB410.
This truggy kit is excellent!!! It is one of the easiest builds i have ever done!! I highly recommend this!!!!
I very 1st Tekno and baby truggy and I love it. Very well built very easy to drive.
Bought this kit for my boy to try something new. I enjoyed the build so much that I bought one for myself. High quality parts and fit. My first Tekno kit, and I don’t think it will be my last.
Solid truggy, fun to drive on and off road. Drivetrain handles 3s without any problems. Wheelies for days... I'm using the protek 3s 4100mah lihv shorty packs that fit perfectly. Wheels hex upgrade TKR1654X is my only recommendation.
The build was super specific, very detailed instructions. Overall the thing is a rocket, with a six turn motor in it oh, it is more then enough for any track that I've driven on. As far as I'm concerned the truggy flies level and corners awesome. Although the class has yet to take off here in West Michigan oh, I am looking forward to it growing any upcoming outdoor season. I give Tecno an A Plus on this one.
The Tekno mini truggy is an absolute blast to drive. Box set up gets you in the park and with a a little adjustment your flying around the track! We had our first race with them last weekend and they were so fun to drive nobody wanted to stop racing! If your thinking about it just do it and hang on!!
An absolute blast to drive! You won’t be disappointed with your purchase. Same high quality kit you’ve come to expect from tekno.
By far the most fun class. The build is excellent, no shims, everything goes together perfect and the instructions are very clear and well written. Truck is very durable. I have XRays for my 2wd, 4wd buggies but after getting this ET410 it's my favorite. Put a hot motor in this beast and go have fun. The performance is awesome on the track and its stable and nimble. If you are racing on astro and want to get ride height down further, the vrp shock towers are great. That is the only thing I've upgraded but even stock out of the box this truck is ready to go on any track surface. If you are thinking about it, just do it! I am so glad I finally got one.
Great service as usual. Ordered a ET410 Tekno truggy kit with all the goodys to get it going. This kit had exceptional quality. Assembly was a breeze.
Tekno EB410 was already on point. The ET410 share his racing pedigree paired to Tekno legendary durability to bring the most fun RC ever! Agile on track, it preserve the essence of the stadium truck while bringing the whole truck family a step further.
I have this truggy for about a month and only ran it three times. The first battery pack run, I broke the plastic ball cup holder in the rear. After getting the replacement cup I ran it yesterday on a second battery pack and it was awesome and fun. Then the third pack my diff case broke in half. I did not land hard or hit anywhere near the top of shock tower and I'm disappointed in the quality. I read reviews from other sites mentioning several problems. Too many weak points. I still love this truggy but if something keeps breaking, I'm just going to give up and sell it. My next truggy was going to be a tekno et48.3 but I been advised to get a mugen truggy. My two buddies have this exact truggy and they gone thru some serious harsh crashes and they are still in one piece? Did I get a piece of *h!+ defect?
