Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
I had the gen1 xx-4 when it first came out. Really liked the kit and the build. Decided I wanted to get into 4wd buggies again so I purchased this kit. Manual is clear, very detailed and a default set-up sheet is included which is nice. Can’t wait to build and race it. One thing that gets me is a scale that measures in grams is recommend for the rear diff build! So have one on hand before building the kit. Edit: Started the build after dinner, had most of the car built in about 5-6 hours and I was taking my time. It was a pleasure to build so far. Bags are labeled nicely. Each step tells you which bag to use and you actually use all the parts in the bag before moving on! WELL DONE TLR!!!!

Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
This is the best fit, finish and build quality of any kit I have built so far. The parts are very cleanly machined and of premium quality. The materials choice is also excellent - plastic, carbon fiber and aluminum are used in a very intelligent blend to give the best benefit of each in the locations they are used. The one exception to that may be the plastic shock caps, but then again the same shock caps have not leaked in my 22 5.0 - you just need to make sure you do a clean initial thread in the bleeder screw hole and then ensure you don't strip them out in haste at some point down the road.

MAKE SURE you get the MIP 5mm nut driver, because you really do need it to to get the input gear attached to the front and rear driveshafts inside the diff housing. The supplied cross wrench's 5mm end is not long enough to do a good job. If you have the thin profile 5mm nut driver its NBD. If you don't it would be a huge PITA to get that one part done well.

Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
Picked this as my first kit ever based on the reviews in forums and my being a fan of TLR. I was not disappointed at all. The build went flawlessly, the quality seems outstanding, and I'm excited to be able to get it on the track. TLR provides a lot of nice touches in this kit including the pre-cut body, wing, and front scoop, including wheels with the kit, and many other small details that make it come together very nicely.

5 STARS!!
It's almost hard to believe how well this buggy performs. This thing is so stable and planted right out of the box using the kit setup. You can drive this buggy very hard and it stays consistent. TLR engineered a masterpiece with this platform! Fit and finish are excellent, the quality of the parts is top notch.
If you're looking at reviews and researching which 4wd buggy to get, don't hesitate- get this kit!

Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
This kit came together perfectly, by far one of the best fit and finishes of any kit i’ve put together. The diffs and shocks feel incredibly smooth compared to some of the other 4wd kits on the market, and to top it off it’s one of the only kits that I didn’t need another 200 dollars in hop up parts.

Over all very pleased with the car and ready to hit the track

Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
This was by far the best build I’ve done. I’ve built everything from 2wd buggy to short course and everything in between. Easiest drivetrain to assemble. The car reacts smooth but still as sharp as you need it to when you need it to. I would definitely recommend this car for anyone wanting to break into 4wd buggy.

Team Losi Racing 22X-4 1/10 4WD Buggy Race Kit
I love this kit! It has made my track driving top notch. I had a feeling I would love this shaft driven kit when I saw it due to the pleasure I’ve had building and racing my 8ight xe’s. It’s light, durable, simple design that was clearly well though out and any needed parts replacement and maintenance has been a breeze and you could tell a ton of thought went into the production of this kit. I’m currently collecting ti and cf upgrades so I can pass down my first built 22x4 kit to my 6 year old son who rips when track driving this thing because..you guessed it, I’ve already bought my second one. Plan to spend around $900-$1000 on this thing including electronics for a more or less ready to race wheeler.
