The TLR 1/8 8IGHT-XT/XTE 1/8 Nitro/Electric 4WD Off-Road Truggy Kit builds on the championship-winning heritage of its predecessors with updates to the suspension geometry, drivetrain and chassis layout. This was done to make it easier to drive and tougher to beat! Plus, this kit includes the parts needed to build the truck in a Nitro or Electric configuration in the box!
The 8IGHT-XT/XTE has a combination of features second-to-none including large footprint engine mount, 3mm chassis, cab forward body, machined aluminum shock caps, and so much more. Designed to win straight out of the box, the 8IGHT-XT/XTE expands performance and is ready for the winner's circle.

The only other "issue" is nowhere on the box or on this website on the lists of required parts did it say that wheels werent included, even though many companies dont include them. In fact on either list it didnt even say that tires werent uncluded either, even though I knew that wasnt going to be true. I assumed that because all my other TLR kits came with a set that this would also because nothing said it didnt include them, so that would have been pretty lame if I didnt already have some sets.
Im installing the same Tekin RX8 and 2250kv truggy spec combo, and use the 6500mah Protek LiHV batteries, and while all my other 1/8 use Protek 170SBzl and TBL servos, Ive got a Tekin 330 for this to try out. I put the low profile Tekin 120 in my AE B6.2 I built a couple weeks ago and love it so I wanted to try one of the full size Tekin's in this rig. If its as good Im going to pick another up for the 8ight E elite thats on the way.
Ill update my review after some track time, but I dont expect to have any issues as of now.
The build was cool, the manual compared to the last few is AWESOME. Set up guide in the back, Part Numbers and Lengths... Its a good resource.
I am a little disappointed that the company refuses to release a kit with alum corners and top plate included.
All in all, Im super stoked to be running this truck, the handling characteristics allows you to drive and be consistent with our having to push all the time. Highly recommended!
Update, I finally got ahold of somebody that was helpful!! What's going on is, I'm on the east Coast so mine would ship from North Carolina, but North Carolina doesn't have any yet so he did something on the computer and took care of me! If I would have just been updated that they were just waiting for the 8ight XT to get to North Carolina I would have been OK. I just wanted to know what was going on so I didn't get screwed and that's the one problem I have have with this whole ordeal, they haven't given us no information!!!! If I knew what was going on I would have been perfectly fine I had been a little upset but I would have been understanding as long as I knew I was going to get it before December!!!!
per-order August 13 still says not in stock when I go to my orders, When I click on it says it is says usually ships within 24 hours its been over 24 hours and it's still Says waiting for stock! No emails other then the one I received 2 days ago saying that it was in stock, nothing saying that my order is getting ready to ship no update since I ordered it nothing!
