The Team Associated RC10 T6.1 Off Road Team Truck Kit represents the next step in the evolution of stadium truck racing. The RC10T6.1 Team Kit began life with the many great advantages already learned through the development of the RC10B6.1. Armed with extensive feedback from racers like you, the engineers behind the doors of Team Associated's Area 51 set off to design the ultimate truck chassis utilizing every advantage possible.

The RC10T6.1 shares key components with the RC10B6.1 and RC10B6.1D Team Kits, making it easier than ever to run multiple classes at the same time. Like the RC10B6.1, the RC10T6.1 has features such as an easy-access differential with height adjustment, redesigned slipper assembly, and the speed, durability and lineage expected of a true champion.

NOTE: Painted body, wheels and tires shown in photos are for illustrative purposes only and are not included. See needed to complete list below for a full list of items required to complete the model.

Team Associated RC10 T6.1 Off Road Team Truck Kit
I have had this truck ever since it came out. I have driven many stadium trucks over the years starting with the original RC10T and JRX-T nearly 30 years ago. I also do not typically fall in love with the way most Associated vehicles drive, more of a TLR style driver. But I have to say that the T6.1 is hands down the best truck I have ever driven. And that is with the kit setup! I demand a lot out of my cars in the way of handling and typically perform many changes to get a vehicle as perfect as possible. In the time I have raced this over the past few months, the only thing I have ever done to change the setup is remove 1mm from under the rear ball stud on the bulkhead. This thing is flat out amazing. And my sentiments are shared by everyone I know who has built and driven their own. When I had the T5M it would be great one minute, and your enemy the next. Kind of like the car in the movie Christine. The T6.1 is nothing like that. Totally consistent race after race. I cannot recommend this truck enough. Hats off to the crew at Team Associated.
Gear diff binding

Team Associated RC10 T6.1 Off Road Team Truck Kit
Bought at my LHS a couple months ago, finally putting it together for high grip, added a gear diff and encountered some serious binding, messed with diff height inserts and loosen trans screws, did not do anything. This truck comes with the layback trans, same problem I had with b6.1 laydown, but I was able to finesse it enough to get it smooth, but not working for this truck. Iíve seen posts where ball diff is smooth and thereís binding as soon as gear diff is installed, so itís not just me. Iíve done my fair share of filing and what not with kits over the years, but now with all the competition in this market, and limited time I have, I just want to build a kit and throw it on the track. Just a let down. Technically what comes in the box works great, I guess itís more of a gear diff issue.
