Great deal on a great servo! I use this in my T.O.P. Photon and I have absolutely no complaints. Low profile design doesn't hang over the lipo chassis like a standard would and the lead wires are really long if you plan on using this in anything other than a touring car. It is strong and fast. Some people have complained in other forums about noise.. which really don't matter when you're tearing through the infield of a race track. In comparison to the Futaba S9551 servo, I would say that they are both ideal for 1/10 Touring car applications. The Savox is a little faster on paper and in the specs.. but in reality, I can't feel the difference between a couple 1/100's of a second. The Futaba S9551 does seem to have a slightly more fluid/smooth motion to it, but with a price that is around $20 less, how can you nit pick something like that? I definitly recommend this servo and would grab it up when it's available... if you don't I'll be back to get it.
Great servo! I have ran it in my CEFX Evo a few times, it has plenty of torque and is plenty fast. It centers well. All in all a good sedan servo when you need a low profile servo.
I run this in my 1/10 Electric Dirt Oval car and it is Awesome!!! A lot of guys run this servo in Dirt Oval and I see why. I don't use a servo saver, just an aluminum arm and so far, a few pretty good licks and still going strong!!! Highly recommended for 1/10 on road & dirt oval use.
Today’s kits are not like they used to be with servo savers in every kit 17.5 buggy is the 1251 limit imo iv destroyed several of them and really not worth the money when the stronger 1257 is the same price.
The 1257 is the winning servo for all 2wd buggies.

I got this Servo for my Xray XB4 (4wd Stock 17.5t Claas)Buggy for Carpet Racing at my home Track in Launceston Australia & It works fine with a Receiver Capacitor had no issues with it from reading previous reviews.
Ive used it from my TLR 22 Buggy & it felt good in all areas of the track from my 22 Buggy Review!

Really good budget low profile servo if you're not trying to spend a lot. Light weight which is good, plenty fast and plenty powerful for my B5M. Downsides are its not super fast and accurate, its loud, doesn't center as good as others for just a few more bucks... Bottom line: I'll keep the ones i have but have found another brand and model to switch to in the mean time.
Gears won't even hold up in a 2wd buggy...stripped two sets of gears in two race days,and not on hard hits. Sorry, but look elsewhere if you want a reliable servo.
I threw one of these in my 22 4.0 SR, and it was great until midway through my second pack during a practice night. Car stopped turning right, and I couldn't figure out why. Checked all my settings, ball cups, etc... couldn't find anything, so I put the car away. Got home and started taking front end apart to rebuild, only to discover the servo wouldn't move by hand. Took it apart and realized it had stripped some teeth on the biggest gear. Not sure why, I've had really good luck with all of my other Savox servos, but I can't recommend this one.
Stripped on my second battery on my eb410.tecno recommended at least 150 oz of torque..I had a standard size pro tech servo that worked awesome, but I got the savox on trade I wanted to give it a try because it was low profile
I run Savox only, in every model i have, or have built, without issue, these i have in my T22's run 2s wuthout any problems always run metal horns, i like low profile to fit spacific places in models with space limitations, i buy for size, power output, & ease of installation, i have over 15 running still, & use Savox for everything from racers to monsters
I used this servo to upgrade my old 1992 vintage RC10T to modern electronics. In the original kit build the old full size servo had to be taped down and made for some very bad steering horn angles. This low profile servo is just the ticket for making everything fit and work properly. Works great and is plenty durable when used in conjunction with the stock servo saver steering bellcrank. Also the servo is very fast and return to center is amazing compared to old servos.
Been running this servo in a B6D for several months with a ton of practice laps and weekly races. Not a hiccup, centers well, plenty of speed and power for 1/10 buggy and durable as I've had some rather epic crashes here and there.
I bought this servo last November run twice of my xray xb4 got stripped gear not recommended this servo.
This servo must be for on-road only. Stripped the gears first time on track in my 4x4 buggy tonight. Stripped the gears Monday, bought a new one at my lhs, and stripped them again 1st battery pack! I'm running a servo-saver.
It was open practice both times and happened from collisions with larger vehicles (hack fest) but they weren't what I would call excessive.
Sucks because I love Savox. The 1267 MG, 1268 MG, and 2273 SG are the best servos I've run and would recommend them to anyone willing to wire them up with the power they need. They are really fast and powerful.
But this servo has failed me twice in the same week, so I'll be selling them after I repair them with new gearsets.
On-road this servo is probably great. It has decent power and it's fairly quick. But I have to give it a bad review because breaking twice in 1 week is unacceptable.
If Savox makes a beefier low-profile servo I'll get it, but until then I'll be running the Radiopost HV HD low-profile titanium-hybrid servo. 305 Oz/in and .07 transit time @ 7.4V! Blows this thing out of the water. I'll just be happy if it stays together.
