  • The full aluminum case design not only looks good but also allows for cooler and smoother operating temps.
  • Totally green – from materials to production, these servos are environmentally friendly.
  • Ideal for 1/8th or 1/10th scale trucks and buggies (electric & nitro) and giant scale aircraft. Also suitable for use in boats and helis.

Savox SB-2273SG "High Torque" Brushless Steel Gear Digital Servo (High Voltage)
I love this servo! Its definitely not too slow this guy has no idea what he is talking about. This is the exact same truggy steering servo Ty Tessman Used to knock out a huge lead and win at the 2014 Dirt nitro Challenge. Don't hesitate to get this servo. And make sure to run it at 7.4v. Why would you even think about running a high voltage servo on on less than 6volts. That's why you would get brownouts(not enough voltage). :)

Savox SB-2273SG "High Torque" Brushless Steel Gear Digital Servo (High Voltage)
This is my favorite servo for 1/8 racing. If you think this servo may be slow, I assure you it is not, just look up the specs and compare it to any servo out. In fact, I felt the 2271 was too fast and the 2273 was fast enough on 5 volts... bump it up to 7 and its specs are unmatched. I have never had a savox fail yet, even though the gears got some slop in them, I still give it a 5 star because it is so powerful and efficient and there are replacement gear sets available so I don't have to buy an entire servo again.

Savox SB-2273SG "High Torque" Brushless Steel Gear Digital Servo (High Voltage)
I purchased this servo for steering in my Losi 8ight TE when I should have got the Savox 2271SG High Speed instead. The servo has plenty of torque, just doesn't seem quick enough for a truggy. It would work perfect in like a tmaxx or savage. Just be aware you will probably need a glitch capacitor as used with both spektrum and radiopost receiver's it would brown out drawing so much amps. Either that or an external BEC.
