Ruddog RP691 1/8 Sensored Competition Brushless Motor (2200Kv)
I got this motor last week and was able to get it out on the track.

All in all, I am pleased with it! I am upgrading from a 1900kv to this 2200kv. On my 1900kv I was running an 18T pinion without issue and on this motor, I went down to a 16T. The fan does a great job of keeping the motor cooler. On average it kept it between 20-30 degrees cooler in the 85-degree weather in which I was testing the motor.

My only issue is at some point while running this motor, one of the two leads that go from the receiver to the fan just split. The wire for the fan is SO thin, and the sheathing for that wiring is so delicate, that I can I could strip it with my fingernails.

Took the fan off the motor, soldered it, taped it up (because I didn't have any shrink wrap), and got back out on the track and things were fine.

Without the fan after ~10 hot laps, ~171 degrees F
With the fan after ~10 hot laps, ~150 degrees F

My 1900kv w/no fan and larger pinion ~150 degrees F after ~10 hot laps

Ruddog RP691 1/8 Sensored Competition Brushless Motor (2200Kv)
So far so good. I ran this motor really hard for 4 races in U4RC the other day. It fits my truck with the fan and really moves a ton of air. In comparison to my other motor in the same conditions, the temp does stay cooler. Plenty of smooth power too. It's running off a Tekin RX8.
