Excellent servo, running mine at 7.4v w/HW1080 no bec and it performs amazingly. Will buy another
Purchased my first Reefs RC RAW 500 steering servo because it had the best specs for torque output at 7.4V (500 oz), being "waterproof submersible" (as opposed to only being "waterproof") and for its craftsmanship/appearance. After a couple months use, I remain thoroughly impressed and now have RAW 500s installed in my two higher level crawlers. And the RAW 500 should remain as my 'go-to' steering servo for new crawler builds until something better surfaces.
Got this for my TRX4. Great servo. Very fast and strong even at the stock 6.0v. Running it with stock receiver and hobbywing axe esc. So happy I can turn my wheels when I’m in a jam and get out of them now. The waterproof features sold me as I like to run mine in creeks often.
Quiet , Beautiful, Strong & Fast. These are the reasons I keep going back to this Raw500 servo. Nothing else out there meets all those criteria.
I have bought eight of them so far and will continue with them.
Really like this servo after trying a few brands. This one has mega power super solid, and responsive. Did i mention quiet.. not noisy at all and H2o proof. Getting 2 more no doubt.
Esta madre esta bien MERGAS! Jala con madres y rifa a lo pendejo. Súper GUAU! Chet men, Fadaworl! :)
I bought this servo for my Axial 6x6 since the stock one burned out almost immediately and I couldn't keep a cheaper servo in it for the life of me. I don't even have the servo on full power yet and it's still insanely powerful, I could turn the entire weight of the truck on one tire with this thing, I can't say enough good about it.
This servo is insane? super fast, incredibly strong and quiet! Running on 8v with a Mamba X in my Capra with 2.2 Ottsix Stickies, and Full Brass Built Axles. .08 Transit @560oz inch torque. its just a beast.
I bought the Reefs Raw 500 servo as a replacement for the standard Spektrum servo in my Losi Lasernut, there really is no comparison (the Spektrum is an entry level product) the build quality is superb, it feels really solid and looks amazing, but the speed and power are some thing else, transformed the steering on the car. Highly recommended
I have this in a heavy trx4 @ 6v and am very impressed.
It's strong, very quiet and runs cool.
I'll be buying another soon.
What a beast of a servo, throws the large 2.2 tyres on my Wendigo around with ease, also I received the version with the updated case, not the smooth cased one in the pics
Reefs Rc Raw 500- very quick and fast servo. I run Reefs servos on all my rc trucks. Great products!
At my ESC stock BEC voltage of 5.5V this thing was still pretty fast and powerful. Now at 8V, this servo is an absolute unit. I have this in my Kraton EXB and it turns those big dboots copperhead 2 tires like they are nothing. Looks awesome as well. Haven’t run a bunch of packs so not sure about the durability yet but other reviews say its great so I am pretty confident with it. I will be picking up another one for my next build!
My Redcat Gen 8 is a part-time submarine, and this Raw 500 has kept up every step of the way. It's also super quiet even above water and way faster than the stock servo I was running. Looking at getting another for the Capra kit I just bought. The only downside is the plastic horns it comes with; that's just undignified.
looks 10/10
function 10/10
price 10/10
10/10 would purchase again
Great servo! Very quiet, fast, and powerful. No “hunting” for center on my enduro sendero like on my other rig. I have the MKS HBL550 and it’s much louder, and never quiet. I will buy another when I have the need
Awesome servo with tons of speed and torque! Running in a Arrma Kraton 6s highly modified. It's perfect and looks great also.
Reefs RC servos are possibly the best servos made. The Raw 500 has amazing torque and speed. Works awesome in my comp crawlers!! Highly recommended!!
Nice heavy duty servo very happy with all reefs products way faster than the 555 it has taken some time to find a great crawler servo tried the $50 supposed big servos but you get what you pay for...QUALITY
