I bought this model a few years back and it's a blast.

Recommend upgrades before you even fire the engine up for the first time... replace the steering servos!

There have been dozens and dozens of posts in various formus saying that these have failed on day one.

Spend 300 bucks and get some good quality servos for steering and a decent brand for the throttle so you don't run into brake fade with a 35lbs rc.

Performance wize:

Upgrade to a tunes pipe like Jetpro, and later upgrade to an O'Neil Brothers Racing engine.
Makes a MASSIVE difference in performance.

Only issues I've run into is a stripped rear diff ping and pin from landing a small jump under wot (completely my fault) and I went through a lot of recoil starters from playing in snow/sand/water a lot... rope rots and brakes, or the recoil mechanism gets full of grit.
For 20 bucks... I started buying 2 at a time so I always had a spare.
