Pro Boat Miss GEICO Zelos 36" Twin RTR 6S Brushless Catamaran Boat
The boat was an absolute blast and I love it however the adapter that comes with it for 2 batteries is 12 gauge and gets extremly hot. So hot it desoldered on first run and I could barely touch it. The boat is fantasticly fun otherwise. I would buy the 2 10 awg adapters and run 4 batteries or 2 6s, avoiding the adapter that comes with boat!

Pro Boat Miss GEICO Zelos 36" Twin RTR 6S Brushless Catamaran Boat
This review is not against Hobby Town. It is about PorBoat Miss Geico 36. Beautiful boat, fast safe shipping by Hobby Town! Thank you.
***Warning*** if you buy this boat be ultra cautious and inspect the entire boat for flaws. I inspected every inch with a close attention to extreme detail....glad I did. Upon checking the water pickups through the hull, I noticed one was completely plugged with green paint. The other was barely open. Upon inspecting the inside of the hull, one of the water hull pickups was NOT fiberglassed into the hull. Now I must repair this myself, while not a big issue I have to repair this due to poor quality control. Sure I could return the boat and wait 1 month to get a replacement. I will just fix myself (I have the know how to do this repair). So I would classify this boat as “almost ready to run”, because if I would not have thoroughly inspected this boat, the brass fitting would have blown out the hull and boat would be sitting on the bottom of the lake/pond as a wreckage for the fishes!

Pro Boat Miss GEICO Zelos 36" Twin RTR 6S Brushless Catamaran Boat
Boat is a 9/10. Its ridiculously fun to drive and has very good handling as well. I have not been yet been able to flip it even once. Also, if you remove the flex cables after each run and apply marine grease (like you should as per the manual), no more than a few drops of water EVER gets in the boat. The thing is basically watertight. Also, the watercooling works great and the ESC/motors have never gotten hot enough to not be able to touch them. No worries there. There is one issue with the boat if you decide to only run 2 3s batteries in the boat- the included 2x 3s adapter. I would highly recommend getting 4 3s batteries and 2 series adapters and use that instead. There is so much current flowing through the included adapter, that it gets hot enough to melt the solder on the connectors. You will have to go retrieve the boat, and re-solder it every time you drive the boat, as doing even a few high speed passes and nothing else can melt the solder. It takes way less driving to melt the solder than you might think. I've soldered mine about 6-10 times now, and the connectors have melted a small amount each time, and now are falling apart. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET 4 BATTERIES, NOT 2! Other than that the boat is amazing.

Pro Boat Miss GEICO Zelos 36" Twin RTR 6S Brushless Catamaran Boat
Left drive shaft snapped in 2 on my first run with it. Unfortunately it’s back ordered until August, but right side is available, so must be a common problem. Lost prop as well. Sucks. But for the 3min it ran, it was awesome. Hopefully just it won’t be a common problem once I get the new parts in.

Broke straight out of the box. Both Prop shafts bent, and the motor mounts melted.
causing a worrying amount of smoke to billow from the lid
of and 2 screws where missing from the battery tray. when your boat is $700 at least show some care
do not recommend

Pro Boat Miss GEICO Zelos 36" Twin RTR 6S Brushless Catamaran Boat
This is one beautiful boat, pictures don’t do it justice. All the screws we’re tight with locktite where needed. The boat is crazy fast and out of the box it didn’t need tuning,. First run I did blow it over but it was the batteries two far forward. Next run will tell. My only complaint would be the stick servo. With that being said , don’t hesitate to buy this boat
