This is the Revolution Design Racing Products Precision TD R2 48 Pitch Spur Gear. The Precision TD R2 Spur Gear was developed specifically for Team Durango's line of 1/10th scale vehicles. The R2 Spurs are wider than the first generation spur gears, and have been precision machined from RDRP's specially formulated composite material to delvier incredible strength, low running noise and reliability. The increased gear tooth contact patch improves durability and does not sacrifice efficiency. The precision machining not only increases the durability of the gears, but also helps when setting gear mesh. The gears also feature machined venting and weight reducing holes to minimize heat build-up when running a soft slipper setting. The gears are available in 72, 78, 83 and 87 tooth count options, and are marked with the tooth count for easy identification.

Revolution Design Precision TD R2 48P Spur Gear
I thought I would test those spur since I build originally built my Stadium Truck with the Team Durango 48P Machined Spur Gear (87T)
and left the original crappy spur inside my pit box.. My Machined Spur was a bit torn after all this time racing and bashing and did not want to pay the new awful price of the Durango Machined Spur. I don't know for now if the RDP will be super strong but I can say this spur is really super smooth, smoother than the Durango only time will tell if they are as durable. I will try to update in a couple of weeks. So far so good.)
