PlaySTEAM Voyager 400 Sailboat w/2.4GHz Transmitter (Blue)
With only limited use so far, this seems to be a good value for a r/c sailboat. Controls are responsive, battery life is very good, and interior of hull stays dry. No adjustments were necessary out of the box other than reattaching one clip that jostled loose in transport.

PlaySTEAM Voyager 400 Sailboat w/2.4GHz Transmitter (Blue)
First I am using this boat in a duck pond about 50 meters in diameter with tree and house cover all around the pond. Pretty well protected area with very shifty conditions. The longest I have used the boat is about 20 minutes and the battery was still responsive.

Overall I found this RC sailboat a fun and great buy. The boat is a bit "tender" probably due to its high aspect ratio foils both below and above the water. The full roach main adds additional power where if I had to guess, I think the sail/displacement ratio (SA/D) is well in the low 20s. Both main and jib are made of polyant2 material (holds good shape and quite resistant in the long term) and the sails are reinforced at the tack, clew and head to preserve the sails against stress. The boat came out of the box with both leaches close to perfect but I cracked out the jib a little more to keep the boat upright in the puffs. I have only had the boat for about a week and find that in zephyr-like conditions the boat will still move but it seems optimal sailing conditions are between 2-6 knots. I have sailed it puffy conditions where average was about 8 gusting 12 knots but one really has to concentrate on blowing the sails before the puff hits to avoid knock-downs. However, in these "higher wind" conditions the boat really moves quickly downwind (if you can keep the boat under the sails - - just like high-wind sailing with a spinnaker on regular sailboat).

This is a fun little boat with great response and when it’s too light to go out on the real thing, this is a great substitute!

PlaySTEAM Voyager 400 Sailboat w/2.4GHz Transmitter (Blue)
Have not used the sailboat at this time.
One thing the included instructions does not tell you is how to remove the top of cabin to install the battery.
So after a wile I found that the small table in the center of cockpit turns and them releases the top hatch to come off
Hope this is a good tip to the people trying to remove the top hatch

This looks like that it will be a good learning boat for the new young sailors
