I had bought this to use to remove old drift tires from my 4WD drift chassis but have come to greatly appreciate just how awesome this tool is as I needn't worry about how I’m going to “boil” my tires to remove it when I don’t have a stove. Lol

Firstly, this tool is used for both installing and removing drift tires from almost all brands but works best with MST’s own line of spec drift tires. The box includes two variations of instructions: the quick start guide and a “normal” instruction road map, the former being more useful once you get the hang of it. Upon using this tool, you have to realize that the black installer tool is actually tapered! If you end up having a hard time installing your tires, you may want to check that you have the black installer tool oriented in the right direction. Another thing to note is that the installer CAN get stuck inside the tool if you’re not careful when storing it so store the tool narrow side down into the “cup”.

Removing wheels is even easier: just slide your wheel onto the “cup”, wheel face down and mount the yellow remover on top. Press hard against a flat surface and pop goes your old tires! It’s THAT simple!

One handy tip when using this tool: when installing, use a light coat of silicone spray lube or WD-40 to make installation easy. Doing the job without it will have you standing on top of your wheel, causing damage to your wheel, tool and person if you’re not careful!

Overall, if you’re a serious drifter or just bash a lot and constantly need fresh drift tires, this tool is a must!

To think I would be boiling drift tires for the rest of my life. This thing is small, and works like magic. It makes it super nice to switch tires between all my different rims. Even if you don't switch compounds very often, I recommend it just for switching out used tires. Would buy for me or my friends again.
