The M2C Racing Tekno ET48.3 Truggy Chassis is machined from 4mm thick 7075 aircraft grade aluminum materials and clear anodized. Use of this material greatly increases the overall life of the chassis. This chassis features an added 4mm hole that will allow you to run the short rear chassis brace as a tuning option, as well as hardened droop stops to prevent chassis wear and droop changes.

Replaceable Skid Plates
This chassis includes the M2C skid plate design that mount flush on the underside of the chassis. As normal wear happens, the replaceable skid plates will wear and can be replaced as needed, leaving the chassis fresher longer, making this chassis suitable for tracks with high wear characteristics. Additionally, since the skid plates mount flush with the underside of the chassis, they will not effect droop settings or scrub speed on landings.

  • Added 4mm hole for short rear chassis brace
  • Made from 7075 Aluminum
  • 4mm thick
  • Uses the stock motor mount
  • Includes front-rear and rear skid plates
  • Hardened steel droop screw stops

M2C Tekno ET48.3 Truggy Chassis
Not happy. The spur gear rubs against the edge of the milled out section where the motor mount sits. As a result I had to file a chamfer on the front facing edge of the spur so it would spin freely. I was planning on installing a steel spur one day, I guess I can't now

M2C Tekno ET48.3 Truggy Chassis
I had an issue with somtheing rubbing during my build after I installed my center diff using the stock spur. I couldnt see what was rubbing but, when I installed another center diff i had off a differant tekno the rubbing went away. This diff had the lightened steel spur. I came to the conclusion that it was an issue with my stock spur. Maybe it was warped and rubbing on something I couldn't see.

Today I read a review previous to this one about how his spur rubbed on the m2c chassis and he had to shave the edge of the spur to make it work. I went back to mine and found the same issue on my chassis when I use the stock spur. The lightened steel spur is about 2/3 the thickness of the stock spur so thats why the problem went away when I installed it.

I have pictures posted of this in teknoforums.com under DB48 build “It has begun”

M2C Tekno ET48.3 Truggy Chassis
This is a fantastic product! It costs less than Tekno's stock chassis and is noticeably stiffer especially toward the rear end. My truck steers better since adding this chassis. Also, if you "case" a jump or endo, the chassis doesn't excessively flex or whip. I feel more comfortable running my ET without the rear brace with tis chassis.
