The Betaflight F4 Flight Controller for Multirotor Drones is the follow up design to the very popular BetaflightF3. Following in the same path as Betaflight F3, the development team at Betaflight and FPV Model have kept a very similar footprint in terms of design with a few added modifications. The F405 Processor has replaced the F303 to allow for lower CPU loads.

The Betaflight F4 has eliminated the 5v/3.3v jumper and added two separate connection points, one for S.Bus and one for Spektrum users. The jumper still remains for the battery voltage/5v connection for connecting your camera. While wiring the board it is recommended to get power for your Video Transmitter either from a different 5v source on the board or if using a higher voltage Video Transmitter power it from the battery input coming into the pdb. Running ground loop at A ground with ground wires from camera and video transmitter is still recommended to give the cleanest video signal. 

Another small design change to this board was changing the BEC, this change takes the recommended 5v 2A current limit and drops it down to 5V 1.5A, its a small change but one that was opted for in order to use a more reliable BEC.

BetaflightF4 now comes with telemtry pads for BLHeli32 ESCs these pads are located between the signal and gnd pads for the ESC connections.

FPV Model Betaflight F4 Flight Controller
I own four of these now and have yet to ever be able to fly them the signal pads for the escs are extremely temperamental and almost always come up. This is just my experience with them im sure some ppl love them but i dont.

FPV Model Betaflight F4 Flight Controller
I'm very happy with this flight controller, I'm using it with the wraith32 esc and using Dshot 1200 and it is so smooth. I couldn't be happier and I plan on buying another real soon because I did a power loop with another quad I have and it fell in a pond. So I'll need a new flight controller for that drone.
