Now manufactured with Master Foam the FT Spitfire is the 10th design in the swappable series and the first of which that is a warbird. This is the perfect gateway into scale-like flying and is also a good introduction into four channel flying. This plane is great for beginners and or experienced pilots who are looking for scale lines without the unforgiving flight characteristics of most scale warbirds. This was achieved by taking the wing of the FT Cruiser and heavily modifying it with the unmistakable elliptical Spitfire wing shape, increasing the size of the under cambered wing tips and adding dihedral. The result is a very forgiving scale warbird that flies just as good as it looks.
Power Pack Compatibility: Flite Test Airplanes are all designed around the use of various "Power Packs" which include an inexpensive Motor, ESC, Servo, & accessory package to complete each aircraft!

Flite Test Master Series Spitfire "Maker Foam" Electric Airplane Kit (1220mm)
I received the brown maker foam kit as I had issues with the white maker foam (which they say they have fixed). Anyway, this kit looks amazing finished. They keep the costs way down using stuff like coffee stir sticks, skewers, ect. It did take me about 10 hours build time going through the 2.5 hour assembly video. Mine does not look nearly as nice as the video but still amazing. Not for the beginner pilot.
