I had a bad experience with this servo and after writing a poor review of it, Amain customer service contacted me to find out some more information. We determined that my servo was an early version which has since been upgraded. They assured me that I shouldn't have experienced the issue and that they have done extensive testing and stand by the product. They sent me a replacement servo at no cost to me. I'm giving this servo 5 stars due to the incredible customer service I received. Im going to give it a shot in my rc boat again, I feel confident it will perform well. I would like to thank Amain, that kind of service is hard to find nowadays and is truly appreciated.
I have only run the servo a few times in my Traxxas Rustler and I can already tell it's got a lot of power. Much more than the blue Traxxas servo I had before it. I highly recommend this servo.
I love these servos, I run them in all my rc vehicles..
I bought 3 of these to replace the dual servos in my E Revo 2.0 plus a spare. A year later I still haven’t needed the spare. These things have plenty of power and are as responsive as you could expect. A friend recommended them to me and I’d definitely recommend these to anyone!
Very cost efficient and well made.put it in a rc8b2 and it's working out great.
As a newbie basher, I was looking for an upgrade over OEM/stock without breaking the bank, so to speak. Without going to pro grade, this fit the bill perfectly!
Looking back at 25+ upgrades made in the last 6 months, THIS one was probably the most bang for the buck. What they say about upgrading stock servos cannot be understated.
Having grown up a bit, I've given this to my kid who says it's like having a whole new truck. Give it a shot, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Great servo for most if you’re looking durability, torque and waterproof. I ran a single one of these in a ERevo 2.0 for a while and while it’s a tad slow for that, it was completely serviceable. I would say it’s likely equivalent in feel to the stock dual servos. However, I would like so suggest a alternate version of this servo. For many 1/10 scale applications a higher speed servo would be a much more noticeable upgrade vs the higher torque. I would say the 110s (there’s a idea for the name) would be an excellent option if it provided a minimum of 180oz in of torque and around a .10 transit on 6v. Maybe a adding in a little more torque and settling for a .11 would be fine as well but it seems to me like a piece of the market no high quality name has quite tackled yet and I would love to see that come to market. It would easily become my go to 1/10 basher and street servo.
Bought this to replace the stock Traxxas Slash VXL 4x4 servo. After bashing this servo over the last two weeks, I can confidently say this servo is at LEAST better than the stock Slash servo. I find it more responsive, heavier duty feeling (obviously with the metal gearing), and the best part is I didn't have to reprogram the servo to steer the opposite direction (common need for SAVOX servos on Traxxas vehicles). Installed directly out of the box with the original Traxxas mounting screws, original Traxxas servo horn, and original servo horn screw, plugged it in, and power right up perfectly! (Keep in mind, this servo does come with new mounting screws, different types of horns, and multiple horn screws. I just saved them for spare parts.) Will more than likely continue using EcoPower for my future servos as well! Very pleased customer!
I purchased a total of 5 of these servos. 3 of them failed durring the first battery they ran on. All three of the failed servos failed in the same way. A tooth broke off the large gear under the smaller gear where the servo horn attaches. I contacted customer service explaining the issue and they promptly responded asking for pictures. I sent two pictures of two of the servos clearly showing the broken tooth and have not heard back from them in 2 business days. My disappointment in this product is only eclipsed by my disappointment in their customer service.
This servo when mounted shows an extreme amount of flex on the drive shaft. The entire plastic molding flares in and out as you turn the servo. I think it is bit now, and therefore I doubt that it is waterproof, or it killed itself.
Seems more than adequate for my trx4, i picked up a replacement gear kit for $12 just to have on hand and countless runs later i have not needed it yet. Wire length was perfect and only needed to remove a couple nubs with a drill bit on the trx4’s servo mount and it dropped right in.
Great servo, fast too for 40 bucks. I will definitely buy more if it holds up in my traxxas trx4 sport. I will definitely put it through it’s paces.
Great product for the money !!!! Waterproof, put in my slash way better than stock also bought there bench work mat that was also very good quality lil slippery but drilled holes on the edges and put screws into my work bench
I have the Losi 8ight Nitro RTR buggy. I wanted to upgrade the servos but did not want to spend a 100 dollars. I have tried the 20kg servos on Amazon on my Traxxas Stampede. The are good servos durability wise but they do not preform at there rated speed and torque. Looking at the Spektrum stock servo specs, 161oz (9kg) and .24 transient speed, I thought anything would be better than what is currently in my 8ight. I bought 2 WP110T servos. I had to Dremel a bit of the radio tray to make them fit since the wires come out of the center of the case rather than the bottom. I had my first bash with them today and what a difference! I mean its like driving a different RC. The throttle and steering response is awesome and at a great price! I can't wait to drive it again!
First (upgrade/better) servo I have bought ever for my granite. Learned about this servo in a hobbyplex YouTube video were the owner changes a kids servo in his granite. He said he loved great products at affordable price. Well me too, so after looking around went to his location in Nebraska and purchased that same servo. Ran it one night on lunch break at work and was an improvement. The next day I wanted to dial it in and set my end points, and in the process something happened to it ? Let go of the wheel on slt3 and the wheels stayed turnt. Not sure what happened, there was some very small twitches if I turned wheel back and forth but now nothing? First servo buying experience not cool.
Servo was great for first day then took my wendigo in the trails and servo was glitching and would only turn right now it won’t do anything when it worked it was a good servo I bought it Thursday and it died Friday
Junk, it stopped working after 7 runs or so. Nothing major. Pretty much just driving it around the driveway and over some small logs. Spend some more money and buy a better product like a savox or reefs.
This servo lasted a week and everything was stripped better off saving the money and getting something with better quality
Super stiff from day #1. Mine stopped functioning at 11 months. You can’t turn the servo by the servo horn. No rust. No abuse. Just a disappointment. I pulled the truck apart today, and found my year warranty that Amain generously offers expired three weeks ago (I didn’t do my part and pursue it immediately, that’s on me). But, I’ve only had RTR fail over the years. And had a set of gears go out of a Savox. But this one was a ticking time bomb.
My Dad got this Servo for my rustler vxl because the first servo that was for my rustler was bad and it was hard for my dad to get the screw in for the servo but we got it and it works and is metal gear so don't turn it like the first servo for my rustler vxl.
