Third Diff, Increased Traction
Adding a super-reliable center gear diff to the already proven DEX410 drive line now increases overall forward traction, whilst also making the application of throttle power on a mixture of surfaces ultra-smooth and easily-controlled. With the option to also run a standard slipper assembly in the same position, you can master this area of traction tuning easily.

Super Fast Gear Meshing
Designed for fast, consistent and easy motor mounting and gear meshing, the DEX410v5 sports a precision aluminum motor plate, which mounts easily into the innovative motor mount. Wheel Hexes: 12mm or 14mm
The DEX410v5 includes 12mm front and rear wheel hex fittings, as well as a full set of 14mm units, straight from the kit box. This provides ultimate wheel choice flexibility, making it easy for you to run existing wheels you own, and quickly conform to pre-mounted control tires if the competition dictates.

Suspension Mount Insert System
Fast and simple inboard rear-toe angle tuning can be easily achieved due to the precision suspension mount insert system supplied with the DEX410v5. Engineered from 7075-T6 aluminum, providing reduced weight and precision fit, the rear suspension mounts benefit from CNC machining for ultra-consistent fit and finish.

Durango is also a large fan of parts trees. I am not saying every single part should not be on a tree, however, they really ran with this to the point that you end up with a variety of parts that are actually for other vehicles in their present and past lineup. This can be confusing at times if you don't pay attention carefully to what part is needed. In addition to this, spare parts can be on parts trees with other items you have no use for but in turn cost you money, such as the shock shaft ends.
The early vehicles like the dex210F had problems with bad shock shafts in particular the front. You can upgrade these with the longer 44mm shafts and limit droop on them. If you don't however and they break, will probably need new ends, which at the cost of the parts tree becomes a bit out there. Luckily a company called Intech has the same ends without a parts tree for a cheap price.
Lastly, the wing mounts are a very weak area. Not a very flexible plastic is used there and its a very thin wall where the mounting screw goes. You can beef this up using JB weld, or buy the Exotek upgrade mounts which at $$$.
Outside of this and the fact that durango has no driver team now apparently, the vehicle handles quite well and offers a lot of layout configurations.
If the parts issues and team issues were not present, this would be a solid 4 maybe 5 car.)
