One of the best upgrades you can make to your Team Associated vehicle is converting to 12mm hex wheels for the security, simplicity and convenient functionality they offer.

The design eliminates c-clips, screws and other items which are hard to detect of issues which limit performance. A great replacement for the stock FT axles since it gets rid of the problematic C-clip. HOWEVER, because the shoulder is so long, and the threaded section short, AKA wheels will NOT cinch up!! That's because the AKA rims are thinner than normal. So, you have to add shims behind the hex. I also used JConcepts serrated nuts which helped...but is a VERY pricey fix!

Excellent product! Works great and eliminates a failure point by not using an C-clip.
