Well..since none of the reviews are of the actual car...ignore them.
Car is great once you can find one...its supply and demand folks, too much supply means shops cant get them quick enough or they get sold out too fast.
Ordered mine on Feb 1st, got it march 11th (had the jeep so no big rush).
Wish i could upload pictures here, but a few differences between this and the white jeep (my other) is the jeep has larger wheels by maybe a half CM..does effect it when trying to climb over boulders (river rocks ~the size of the trucks). It also "bottoms" out a bit more then the Jeep did due to the frame and bumpers sticking out a bit more. Ended up trimming them a hair and preloading the shocks with zip ties (for now) to help alleviate that.
So Pros
1. Sickest looking body of them all.
2. Can climb up good sized rocks, add in some brass diff cover and knuckles and it helps a ton, bit of trimming and id say close to par with the jeep.
Cons.
1. Stock does not climb as well as the jeep, swapped tires and the trimming helped a TON
2. Prone to getting stuck on the frame (door side and front bummper), bit of trimming / removing the front bumper helps a lot. lights can be stuck in the old bumpers holes which are a perfect fit.
3. wheels even stock hit the frame on bumps/angles. Trimmed about 2-3Mm around the sides of the truck and that seems to help the most in this area.
If you just drive over some sticks/on foam courses that dont have same size rocks to roll over, you probably wouldnt need to do any of the trimming stuff...i like pushing them to their limits on the big rocks (what could be considered a 1/12 scale course or so) and thats what causes the frame to hit so often for me.
otherwise its a great truck but like them all...just gotta tweak it a bit to how you drive/where you drive.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
All in all, a great little truck. I have had an Axial SCX10 II 2000 Jeep crawler for several years and wanted to give this little truck a try. It is cool looking and does pretty well out of the box. Due to its size it is light in weight and cannot 'crawl' like its big brother but that is to be expected. I have already modified my C10 with several aftermarket options: RC4WD rims and tires, brass steering knuckles and dif covers plus the stainless steel skid plate. From the weight perspective the brass items really help. I have also added some, not all, of the just released DSM bearing set bearings.
Something important - get a good battery charger which can not only charge at a lower rate but can balance charge as well. AMain has several. I use the same Venom Pro Duo that I use for my 1/10 Jeep. Another good choice would be the Spektrum Smart S150 LIPO Smart Charger (# SPMXC1070). Be sure to get the adapter (# SPMA3021)
If you are going to be crawling outside you might consider changing out the motor. There are plenty of videos on this subject. If you are just going to be using indoors, maybe not.
Whatever your desire is, be sure to purchase a GOOD 0.50" hex driver for those tiny little screws. The supplied allen wrench works but can be frustrating.
Would I recommend the SCX24- yes.
When in doubt, contact AMain via the Chat option. I have found them to be of a great help.

Definitely a fun truck. Had a problem w/ the charger right off the bat, but AMain addressed it & replaced it promptly. Enjoying the upgrades as they are delivered. Not disappointed at all.

Fun little truck! This is my 2nd scx24 now. Great indoors and out. My son ran his scx24 deadbolt completely submerged in water and it still works perfect to this day!

What an awesome little truck! I've heard it isn't quite as capable as the jeeps out of the box, but it looks so much better. I'm extremely impressed with this tiny truck. Super fun out in the woods doing itty bitty hill climbs in the mud, or in the living room scaling over some books. I've even set up a few cardboard courses and it never ceases to amaze. Can't wait for all my LEDs (shout-out to Lit LED) and my brass and aluminum goodies to get here.
If you're on the fence, you should definitely grab one. You won't regret it.

I have two scx24's. They are awesome. But, I have had esc issues with both of them. Horizon hobby has a very good customer service, and, they have always taken care of any problems I have had. Amain is a top notch seller who I have had no issues with. I look forward to doing business with both horizon hobby and amain hobby in the future. Y'all have a badass day ?

Neat little truck that’s really effective on the trail. It’s great straight out of the box but it also has tons of upgrades and I went with Hot Racing and am not disappointed

I love this little truck. It's battery life so far is awesome. It's durable as hell and comes ready to drive right out of the box. I have two daughters 4 and 12 that play with it almost every day and we have had it over a week now. So now I have to buy 2 more im going to get bought of the other little ones. In all its a great buy.

This was a walk in buy, didn't plan on it but after looking around and thinking about it I went for it and I'm so glad I did. This thing is really cool in door rock crawler and been having a blast with it and it climbs really well. Worth it if your wanting a small fun rock crawler.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
Very fun little truck! Handles pretty well, it's capable of a lot more than I was expecting it to be, it could use a little more wheel speed but other than that it's set up really well out of the box! There is a servo saver on it, so it will at times get locked up on super tricky obstacles, but within reason it stays pretty tight and allows the truck to get over a lot of stuff really well. Definitely worth the money they did a great job making a super fun truck for a super fair price. It excels indoors but it can hold its own outdoors in small areas.

Axial SCX24 1967 Chevrolet C10 1/24 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler (Silver)
The SCX24 is a good crawler in it's scale. I have two, one of the red body ones and one of these silver ones. The silver one is to be stayed away from. This is a engineering issue when the truck turns either way the tire hits the inside of the bumper and causes a rubbing noise. I had to bend the wire for the lights on the bumper inwards and move the body standoffs to their highest position and it still makes the noise a tad. I either got a bum unit or Amain sent me a used returned product. To much of a hassle to even be bothered to ask for a refund from my 6 year old's Hanukah present when I don't know if it's a defect or an engineering issue. Either way. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS VERSION OVER THE INTERNET FROM THIS PROVIDER.
Gave it 2 stars anyways as the red body designed unit works well.

This truck is lame. Motor is garbage, screws came pre stripped, junk shocks, plastic components are't worth messing with. It has such a high center of gravity that you HAVE to upgrade it just to have any fun! Not to mention the replacement parts are hella high!
