This is a set of 1.9" internal wheel weight rings from Axial. Axial's Internal wheel weight system (Patent Pending) allows for precise and easy addition of weight to your Axial 1.9 Beadlocks.

Purchase the Internal Weight Ring to add weight and increase stability on difficult obstacles. To add even more weight use the Internal Wheel Weight Inserts (AXI30548) to fine tune the total weight.

Each package of Internal Wheel Weight Rings includes the ring for one wheel. To equip two wheels, you need two packages.

Recommended for the use on the front wheels to help with climbing and stability by lowering your center of gravity.

Axial 1.9 Internal Wheel Weight Ring 43g/1.5oz (2pcs)
Do not work exactly right with the SCX10.3 stock three piece bead locks, despite being listed some places has a compatible item. They squeeze the center ring into an oval shape, and you can only bolt down one side of the ring, with a gap open where the opposite ring ends should meet. The outer halves of the bead locks can be forced in place with the inner ring, with effort, but I fear running that way will imbalance the tire, especially with all optional weights installed.

I’m giving them a 5, because I know they’ve worked with my previous models just fine, but be forewarned that there will be problems with the new SCX10.3.

Update: I did manage to get them on in a working fashion by bending them outward slightly to avoid squeezing the ring. I spaced the halves opposite of each other, with equal gaps at each connection point, and secured them together with cable ties. Alternately, grinding away some plastic and/or metal would probably work also from the looks of it, but I have not tested that theory at all. It just seems more work than necessary for a questionable outcome.

Axial 1.9 Internal Wheel Weight Ring 43g/1.5oz (2pcs)
I've got these in the front and rear wheels of my SCX10, equipped with full AXI30548 weight inserts. The added low CG weight makes a dramatic difference and makes me feel like a pro when crawling and climbing.

Originally I only equipped the front wheels with weights but that only helped climbing, not crawling. I noticed that with no weight in the rear wheels, they would lift off the ground when the front end articulated crawling over something. After adding the weights to the rear end, no issues - the truck is planted! Highly recommended.
