The Arrma Typhon 3S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy delivers power, strength, style — and the ability to reach extreme 50+ mph speeds. Now equipped with the high-quality Spektrum STX2 radio, it's an even smarter move into 1/8 scale buggy bashing!

The Spektrum STX2 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system provides many of the features found in high-end 2.4GHz radio systems, including throttle and steering reversing, throttle and steering travel adjust, and throttle limiting. The radio system also includes the Spektrum SRX200 2-channel waterproof receiver.

ARRMA powers the 1/8 TYPHON 4X4 3S BLX with its BLX100 brushless system for incredible torque, acceleration, and speed. This 3S LiPo-capable setup has already proven the speed and toughness of its 3200Kv brushless motor and 100A ESC, now equipped with an IC5 connector (EC5 compatible). The transmission and chassis are ruggedly engineered to take full advantage of the electronics' power — in ARRMA tradition, DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH.

The low center of gravity, with wide arms and narrow buggy wheels and tires, improves handling over all of your favorite bashing terrain — race tracks, trails, muddy courses, skate parks, and more. With its metallic-finish body and forged composite detail, the TYPHON 4X4 3S BLX also looks as great as it performs. A stylish, high-downforce wing keeps all four wheels planted as you explore the upper limits of its outrageous speed range!

Arrma Typhon 3S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy (Red)
Pros I've ran this car 14 times on a 5200 mAh 3's battery and have had no breakage. Most of it's at the skatepark some of it in the dirt field. It is actually very tough.
Cons the electrical isn't routed very well the motor connectors will come undone in the battery to the ESC lead has capacitors that really limit the routing of your power wire. the heat shrink on that wire is already wanting to change through after 14 runs.
Over all mine came with the STX radio I haven't had any problems with it I haven't noticed any lag I was going to swap it out but honestly there's no need to. Out of the box it ran straight it's very fast the tires are great. The car is geared well it feels like it goes 50 miles an hour or so in all honesty this car is costing me less money than any other RC car I've ever purchased because I haven't had to do anything other than buy hard pack lipos.
