Arrma Senton 4x4 Mega 1/10 Short Course Truck RTR (Blue/Black)
Well, I typically don't review items, just not to upset people. But in this case I will review it. We purchased 2 RC vehicles. This Arrma and a Traxxas Rally 1/10. Overall its an good attempt to build a competitive R/C. However, out of the box new it has displayed too many odd failures/running items. First, the provided battery and charger: the 2400 mAh battery is just so subpar for this level truck. The charger, which we were told would take 8-12 hours to charge, never charged the battery, it sat for 24 hours, not fully charged. We used an aftermarket charger to do the job, and bought better battery.
Now, the R/C truck. Heavy. Tires worn out (both front tires bald) in 1 week of basic driving, nothing nuts. Run time, with a 5000mAh battery. Lucky to get 20-30 minutes, maybe. Steering randomly does not trim, shakes and trembles. Reset, reset, reset. Drive it, then while driving the steering will act up and fail. Arrma responded that the steering servo is probably going out. (2 weeks old). Poor out of the hole acceleration and average top speed. Drive in dirt? Yes, its a truck, well be prepared, the motor housing with gears is exposed on the bottom, allowing all the dirt and grit onto the pinion and spur gear. Really bad combination.

Our other 1/10 R/C purchase. No issues, runs like a bat out of hell. 45+ minutes and still drifting, jumping sliding and full speed. And yes, exact same battery.

I think Arrma has good intentions but its not all there yet. Too many out of the box issues, failures and oddities, just not fun.

Arrma Senton 4x4 Mega 1/10 Short Course Truck RTR (Blue/Black)
I bought the Senton for my 8yr old son. He loves it! It is a nice looking truck. I would recommend this truck for any beginner, it’s nice very fast but it’s good enough to start with
