Check us out at our Facebook Page, Become a Fan! 2009 Fall National Model Contest On Saturday, October 10th, 2009, HobbyTown USAŽ customers are encouraged to bring their best completed models of cars, aircraft, military vehicles and more for a National Model Contest. The event is hosted by Osprey Publishing and HobbyTown USAŽ stores across the country. HobbyTown USAŽ will select winners in a variety of model categories including Passenger Vehicles, Aircraft, Military, Miscellaneous, Diorama, and more. There will be both an Adult and Junior Division (age 15 and under). Entry Fees are $3.00 for the first entry in each category and $1.50 for additional entries in the same category. There will be awards in all categories; and models will be displayed at the store for public viewing. The top winners move on to the National Model Contest, competing against winners from all other HobbyTown USAŽ stores. The National winners receive national media recognition, cash and prizes. |
