Point Series Racing Outline and Rules
  1. All Procedures and Rules for dirt and parking lot racing apply.
  2. To qualify for point series racing you MUST run a transponder. Transponders are available for puchase or rental in the store.
  3. Series will be ten weeks in length running every other weekend. You must race a minimum of 5 weeks to qualify for awards. Seven out of ten weeks will be used to determine final point standings.
  4. Not all classes will be racing a point series event. See RC Racing Program for point series classes.

Note: Special Event Races include, but are not limited to, cash races, trophy races and sponsored races. The format of each Special Event Race will be announced as soon as plans are finalized for that Special Event Race.
Prizes and Award Pay Outs
  1. Awards are based on the number of drivers registered in each class.
  2. All awards will be HobbyTown USA Gift Cards for the outlined amount.
    A Main - 1st Place = $20.00
  3. Trophies will be awarded at the end of the season to the top 3 places in each class. No monetary awards will be made.

July 5, 2008 - Cash Race

  1. The next HobbyTown USA cash race will be held on July 5th.
  2. The race includes the following classes: Monster Truck, 1/8 Scale Buggy, and 1/8 Scale Arena Truck (Truggy)
    There will be NO 1/10 Scale Stadium Truck (gas or electric)
  3. CASH ONLY Entry Fee: $25 per class—additional classes will not allow for discounts.
    (ie. 1 class $25, 2 classes $50 and so on)
  4. Cash Prizes will be awarded at 60% of paid entries per class.
    (ie. 10 racers=$150 to be paid out)
  5. The top 3 places in easch class will be paid out in the following manner:
    • 1st=50%
    • 2nd=30%
    • 3rd=20%
    • (ie. Paying out $150- 1st= $75, 2nd= $50 and 3rd= $25)
  6. All payouts will be done at the end of the race day
