Store Pickup
Thank you for visiting hobbytown.com where we think of this site as an extension of our stores. We are dedicated towards the highest level of customer service and care about the relationships that we have with our customers. Therefore, we want to provide you with the shopping experiences that you prefer. Our store pickup option lets you buy online and pick up your order in the store. Thus, saving you a shipping charge.
Here is how it works:
- Select the item that you wish to purchase.
- Click on "Select My HobbyTown".
- Add the item to your shopping cart.
- Click on "Check Out".
- Create a customer account or select "Checkout without creating an account".
- Select Store Pickup
- Wait to receive two emails from us:
- Order Confirmation – Verifies that we received your order.
- Pickup Notification – Lets you know that your order is ready to be picked up and what you will need to bring with you to the store.
Important: Only the person who placed the order and is named on the purchasing credit card may pick an order up.
If you used PayPal or a gift card for your purchase, bring your ID and order number.
Changing Your Shipping or Pickup Options
You may change your fulfillment option from pick up to shipping after placing an order. Simply call the HobbyTown USA® store that you placed your order with. The store phone number can be found on the store profile page.
- To switch from shipping to store pickup, call within one hour of placing your order.
- To switch from store pickup to shipping, call any time.
Canceling a Store Pickup
To cancel your pickup, call the HobbyTown USA® store that you placed your order with. Please have your credit card information handy.
Your order will be held at the store for 7 days. To ensure your security, if you do not pick up your order within this timeframe, we'll cancel the order and issue a refund to your original form of payment. A 15% restocking fee may apply.
